Do you find it hard to smile when you're not high?

Yep it's either a chemical crutch or pure misery. My choice is opiates and I'd rather be addicted and happy than sober and down on myself. I'm trying to find relief in legal ways through ssris but they don't come close to doing their job.

Jesus christ man. I was asking a genuine question. Stop letting the lounge change you. We joke about things IN there, there's no need to bring your nonsense outside of the lounge, you do not know how I was feeling as you are not me.
 
For me it seems not a vague question, actually the opposite. Sure there is a deeper underlying question - that matters more. But its somehow a good attempt to find it out, as most people do drugs to be happy.

I smile a lot more when I am high but coincidentally I have not come down in over a decade so make of that what you will.
 
He doesn't even know who i am. I'm confused on how he can judge someone by their e-persona. He's just been blasted in the lounge and i guess he wants to take it out on me cuz of whatever his reasons are. He then comes out the lounge to disrupt DC on a personal matter smh.
 
Yeah it was sarcasm. I know it's a little more difficult to identify on screen. No more grudges.

I do find it hard to smile when not high. The thing is after years of abusing drugs, they stop working. They stop making you smile. If you find yourself unable to smile without being high, then you have a problem that will only get worse the longer you continue to use.

I don't like Potatoman because he thinks homosexuality is morally wrong. But you know what. We are all entitled to our own beliefs.
 
Look man. The lounge and drug culture are different. The lounge is for all of your nonsensical, name calling banter. When you come to DC with this kinda stuff you simply disrupt the forum. I've been told all this type of posting is meant for the lounge. You can't come to a post of a serious matter with some anger towards me cuz of something you "think" i believe is morally wrong.

The enlightened respect people's beliefs. You "hate" me cuz I don't share your belief? That's quite sheepish. Just drop it man.
 
No I never said I hated you. Trust me I don't. I just find your views on certain subjects to be very narrow minded. You are right, I should not have brought this subject into this thread.

I do respect people's beliefs. Unless I see them as morally wrong. And I don't need you to give me a tutorial on how the forums work. I gets it.

Sure its "corny", but what do you expect - a smack in your face answer?

Its drug culture forum and how i understand it, it is a sub forum to come closer to what really matters. All these "how high are you threads" are vague, as they are not meant to be dick sizing about how fucked up people can get.

I really like the sub forum because its so vague and not a playground for discussions. The OP had obviously a reason to post it in this sub forum. If he wanted some "hey, stay strong, much love from me" reactions, he had posted in the dark side.
 
I agree. If you look back through the thread, I have given my sincere thoughts on the subject. I like having deep conversations about feelings. I feel things very strongly, which is why I find it hard to just bite my tongue sometimes.

Bygones are bygones.
