Opioids Do I take too much methadone?

I noticed a lot of you guys in previous threads saying they take between 10mg-40mg of methadone to be 'good' for the day.
Do you think it's a waste to take more? I'm prescribed 20mg/day but usually take anything between 100mg-120mg.
Do you think I wouldn't even notice the difference if I took say 40mg?

Uhh never taken methadone , but those guys are usually people who've been on maintenance for a while and tapered down to that . 60-150 mgs is normal for H addicts , so your dose isn't crazy but it is large . I'm pretty sure 40 mgs wouldn't make you feel the same as 120 you'd feel like shit for sure , taper slowly maybe 10 mgs every few days if you can good luck and be careful they're called liquid handcuffs for a reason

i would slowly taper down, the less the better
