Do I need to taper off a relatively low dose of Tramadol ?

On 7/29/15 I got a bottle of 90, 50mg Tramadol to use 3/day. I used that, but sometimes as needed. On more than a few occasions, I used anywhere from 250mg total to 400mg. Long story short, I have four left and its only 8/17. I took 25mg tonight, and my plan was to quarter them(12.5mg) till they were out.
I know it's not a big deal, but I take a few different meds and I don't want this shitty one throwing me off. I already felt a little bit sick yesterday, but that could of been anything.

Thoughts?

If I can do better than Tramadol, I will. Worst case, I'll have to get a higher dosage.
Any thoughts would be helpful.

It wouldnt hurt but probably not necessary. Four 50mg tablets isnt really conducive to a taper but try your plan and see how it goes. What is your history with opioids, SK?

Prescribed, I have long term use (2 years+) oxycodone. I have also been prescribed hydrocodone, codeine, Tylenol 3 w codeine and fentanyl.
Use in general, I've gone as high as Opana/oxymorphone a few times. I have snorted/smoked #3 heroin a few times. I think that is all. Technically Tramadol is an opioid that's why I'll include it.

If still on some of those, just cold turkey the tram. Dont think seizures are an issue with the duration you took it, if at all.

Im kinda re-thinking my advice SK. You werent on it all that long but maybe long enough to cause an SSRI like withdrawal effect. If you can get a few more tramadol a 7 to 10 day taper may decrease this. Let me know, my friend what you plan on doing and how it turns out.

I have enough Klonopin and Gabapentin to come off just about anything. I don't abuse anything anymore. Completely pointless. I had cancer treatment including chemotherapy last year. I'm in remission now. All clean of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I only mention the cancer because it helped ground me deeper than anything in my life.
I like to have fun, but I am in no way reckless anymore. That's why I even cared about the taper.
My plan is, take a total of 25mg (two 12.5mg doses a day) for 7 days, then take 12.5/day for two days. That's the extreme plan. If I feel better sooner, I'll cut it off sooner, but I think that's fair.
