Do I have HPPD?

I have taken lots of psychedelic drugs in the past, LSD like 20 times, DXM around 35 times, Diphenhydramine probably 25 times (yes, I love this creepy drug), etc.
I also did some research chemicals like 2-CE very moderately.

Besides psychedelics, I have been tapering down my benzo addiction since 6 months with Lyrica (Pregabalin) and I can "function" with 30mg Diazepam per day now (I used to do 15mg+ of Alprazolam, Bromazepam, Clonazepam, etc. just one year ago).

Finally, although I am not addicted anymore to any opiate, I do have 2 o 3 times per month cravings for some Codeine, DXM or Tramadol, but I don't think this it's a big deal.

Well, since my first doses of LSD (this was 3 years ago, and I was heavily doing DXM and Diphenhydramine every week at that time) I have been able to ... how to say it? tweak my mental sensations? This is an example:

Let's say I am listening to music (jpop or trance) and I am totally clean of any drug. If I see a pattern somewhere, let's say the wall of my room, (but it could be the floor of the street, anything while it has some kind of pattern), if I keep watching it for some minutes totally "focused" in the music but not turning my eyes from the wall 2 or 3 minutes straight, the pattern automatically starts to wave and "paste" itself in my whole vision, until I finally move my eyes, and whatever is in my field of my vision is moving and "repeating" itself; the music also sounds very weird and "deep", like I feel it's coming from behind my head. This goes away in seconds if I begin thinking about anything else.

I don't mind this at all, but I was just wondering if this could be some kind of HPPD, mostly because I did a lot of LSD and Diphenhydramine, although I never mixed them (at least not that I remember of).

Thanks for reading.

Hey we have very similar backgrounds with psychedelics.

I have not messed around with opiates though, except to try them a few times.

I also know exactly what you are talking about as far as being able to intensify HPPV by focusing on it.

Same thing here while I am experiencing HPPV.

Guess what though, I have found the best way to get rid of it is to STOP doing that lol... (if you want to get rid of it that is)

Really, its my humble opinion from experience and a guess about biology that you are reinforcing the visual-mental pathways of the brain by doing that. (The brain gets better at ANYTHING you do repeatedly, just how it works)

Also worth noting, the lingering effects of HPPV from diphenhydramine / dimenhydrinate are much much much worse than LSD, shrooms, or any other traditional psychedlic form my experience.

LSD / Shroom HPPV is exteremly minor in my experience and only lingers for the next day at most.

HPPV from DPH and DMH lasts up to a week for me when tripping on a high dose. Doing those on a regular basis also build up HPPV in that it takes even longer to go away if used frequently (more than once a week, possibly only once a week if really high dosage 1,000-2,000mg)

Edit: I don't mean to scare anyone away from diphenhydramine / dimenhydrinate... It takes a really massive dose for me to get HPPV but yes its real... although very manageable and mild lasting a week worst case scenario for me. If I don't think about it I honestly don't even notice it.

Thanks for the replies guys. And as I said before, I really don't mind.
BTW, if for some reason I take a SSRI like Lexapro, the effects comes much more easily for some reason, this doesn't happen even if I take lots of Codeine or Dihydrocodeine.
