I been drinking too much starbucks and when starbucks wasn't enough, I took caffeine pills and averaging 600-800 mg of caffeine throughout the day. This is a serious problem. I am certainly feeling it in the head and chest. Can someone help me stop drinking so much starbucks?

Hey. I appreciate your help, but why are you belittling my problem? Did I mention that it was 600-800 mg? I also smoke a lot of cigarettes and I don't know what to do.

Don't let anyone get down on you, if you want to improve your life that's up to you.

I believe there are quit smoking groups but you may want to talk to your doctor about Chantix or something like that. A friend of mine had success using that and then an e-cigarette to quit smoking cigarettes.

Is there psychological addiction to caffeine or just physical? If it's just physical you should be able to just cold turkey it. You'll have a nasty headache and probably some other symptoms for a few days but it should resolve itself. If you want something to replace it with, maybe green tea? Low levels of caffeine aren't problematic, but too much can cause OD, which you're probably on the edge of sometimes.

meh.. when i did codeine a lot id extrqct t1s.. sometimes 50~.. thats .75g of caffeine in a single go.
if you want to stop you will.. simple as that

^ Yep!
I also drink a lot of coffee and during weekends I usually have migraines as I don't drink it all day long.
I noticed that during weekdays I get more nervous due to the anxiety that caffeine causes.
It also upsets the stomach and cause dizziness in high dosages.

It's not only about caffeine itself but the entire ritual which includes smoking and feeling refreshed.
Try to slow down, avoid the pills and see what happens. It could make you feel better.
In case you have migraines take a tylenol or aspirin and it will pass quickly.

The truth is only you can stop you from drinking so much Starbucks, unless of course you're willing to lose your freedom.

Like any habit, part of the habit is a dependence on the ritual. Try finding other rituals that you can substitute that are healthier.

You could start by switching to green tea and vaporizers. Take your time man; you'll get to where you need to be soon enough. Cut it out with those caffeine pills haha... They are bad news for sure!
