Can CWEs help reduce nausea or is it strictly the opiate itself which causes nausea?
For me it seems that taking them with food helps the most

The main purposes of a CWE is to get insoluble crap out of a pill that could be damaging to you in high doses, ie. APAP.

The nausea usually means you took to much of the opiate/opioid.

I have felt very queezy taking 2x 10/325 percocets 3 times a day, compared to taking 2x 15 mg oxycodone hcl 2 times a day...
(60 mg's oxycodone w/1950 mg's apap over 16 hour period) - (60 mg's oxycodone - 0 apap)

I have vomited from taking 3250mg of APAP in one day in the form of 10 oxycodone 10/325 pills, and I surely would not have vomited from 100mg of oxycodone alone. I know that's a high dose of apap, and since then I have always done a CWE when dosing more than 2000mg/day of apap. Acetaminophen can definitely cause nausea, but so can opioids, so there is only one way to find out if the CWE will reduce nausea for you. Do it and see. You should be doing a CWE anyway, because there really is no need to put any extra harmful things into your body that you don't need in there.

Taking too much apap has made me puke in the past. For me therefore, doing a CWE does wonders.

On others it doesn't have the same effect and they can "seemingly" tolerate it. I feel me puking is just my body telling me i got too close to my apap limit. Everyone has a diff limit of apap their body can handle before it does serious damage, and i feel the closer someone gets to that the sooner they start puking.

As most people have said it just gets rid of (some) of the tylenol; or APAP

Eventually your body will get used to it and you wont get (as) nauseous. :P

It depends on whether it's the APAP or the opioid that is making you nauseous. APAP makes me very nauseous and gives me stomach pains, sometimes heartburn, etc, so for me removing the APAP makes a huge improvement.

If taking the pills with food helps then I would be inclined to think that it's possible the APAP is making you nauseous, because - for me at least - opioid nausea is often actually worsened by food, whereas APAP nausea is lessened by food.

I would say it's worth it to try a CWE regardless.

After three years of dosing 30mg hydrocodone/3g APAP every 4 days like clockwork, my body has become unable to tolerate 1500mg or more acutely. Liver pains, lethargy, nausea, pallor, sweating, and lack of appetite linger over me until the next day.

3 grams right now now would have me out of comission for at least 36-48 hours getting the breath knocked out of me everytime something touches my abdomen. Like getting socked in the gut, only on the other side. It's very worrying, and scares me the hell away from drinking appreciable amounts of booze these days. Then again, I never really drank that much in the first palce..

I feel you man. I get that now whenever i take APAP. Cant take tylenol anymore, and the last times I took an compounded opiate i was in more pain than it detracted. My stomach gest bloated and swollen and painful. It is ever since I took WAYTOOMUCH one day, like upwards of 5-6G of apap. Thought i was gonna die. Needless to say i didn't, but no more APAP for me ever.

I'd get a liver panel done amigo, if insurance will cover it. Just to be safe.
