I'll try and make this short. Swim got hurt at work, sprained ankle and back. Swim was sent to hospital and was drug tested. Swim is only allowed back to work if drug test is fine. Swim was prescribed to Klonopin for a long time but her last script was on 4/13. On the bottle it says take as needed so swim saved some for emergencies. Four days before swims accident swim took some. Is the script still legal to use or did swim have to use it by a certain date? The bottle doesn't have any expiration date on it or any use by date. Will swim be fine? Swim hasn't seen this doctor since that last script and now work requires that the doctor fax over papers saying swim was still allowed to use the script.

We are all concern about swim losing the job. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

That's weird that it doesn't have an exp. date.. in my experience, every bottle of everything I've ever had has an exp date on it.. if you're right though and it really doesn't have an exp. date/use by date, then I think you should be ok.

I'm going to assume that your name is Swim and you're talking in the third person.

Well you've already taken the pills so all you can do is take the bottle in with you and hope for the best.

this is an impossible question to answer it completely depends on you're employers view on the matter

Even though you're not seeing that doctor now, they were prescribed legitimately within the past year. Depending on the drug, some are good for a year and some for six months. Read the bottle again for "use before date" in very small print. If you're worried about losing your job, it would be a good idea to talk with an attorney. We can't give you legal advice here.
