DMT season? Acacia Mearnsii

I want to make some ayahuasca. There's a shit load of black wattles (acacia mearnsii) around my area. I read conflicting reports about the DMT content. Apparently it's seasonal. The bark can contain no DMT or as much as 1.2%, depending on the season. But it never says when the on season is for DMT. Anyone got any ideas?
