It was the first time I had ever used DMT. My friends were over and I showed them the small amount of powder, about 200-250mgs.
Method used was an elaborate glass cannabis pipe with a screen in the bowl, with tobacco ash on top. I sprinkled the offwhite/yellow fine powder ontop from a pill bottle. I first tried what looked like a few grains of sand. My friends were sitting around me, excited. I was excited. As directed, I held the lighter just above the DMT and inhaled slowly, melting it into the ash. I then inhaled the vapors and smoke in one hit. Almost immediately I felt a buzzing sensation, an increase in gravity and a slightly grimey physical feeling. I also heard the carrier tone, a high pitched ringing coming from behind me, slightly above my left ear.
I laid back and experienced mild CEV's and within 5 minutes I was able to sit up and tell me friends "yeah there is something special about this". I each gave them a dose about the same size, and they all saw different visions. One had a CEV of nothing but a blue background and shark teeth. They left me alone in my room to go outside. I also think I requested to be alone as I was going to try a larger dose.
I sprinkled a pile the size of a dime on the pile, and finished it in 3 hits. Instantly, I was hit with The Fear. My room spun like a tie die shirt. I was living at home with my parents still. Even though neither was home, I was absolutely frightened my mother would walk through the door and see me lit out of my skull with this odd smelling plastic smoke in the air.
I tried to calm myself down and stared out my window to this rather large Rhododendron. As my room was still twisting, the Rhododendron started to twist and grow, its many leaves and flowers growing, twisting through my window. It took on the appearance of an evil clown, with many faces within one face. The faces appeared from the natural fractal of the bush. Green and pink faces influenced by the green and pink flowers.
So far, this was the most intense visual I had ever experienced. I was able to laugh and enjoy the insanity. Before I knew it, the Rhododendron returned to normal and I was left laying on my bed thinking "What the Fuck was that. Whoa, what the... fuck".
Many experiments followed.
