DMT containing Aussie plants

Don't believe everything you see on wikipedia.

+1 to that.

Hence my comment to verify any wiki info against other sources.

Still, some interesting info to read to get a general idea, but yeah, don,t rely on it.

what about phalaris grass?
I've heard "third hand" of someone growing it, but i'm rather vague of the details.

So much Phalaris Grass in my area (Newcastle, NSW, Australia), Pharlais Arundinacea to be specific

Apparently you need a whole football field worth of Phalaris grass to yield anything decent. That is what I have been told though, I could be wrong.

Phalaris Aquatica has a dry weight DMT concentration which is equal to weak Psychotria viridis (0.1% DMT). You need 100g dry plant material for 100mg DMT, so not unusable amounts.

I had read that on Wikipedia which caused me to ask some people in the know and they told me that Phalaris was useless.

I've read conflicting results, some good some bad (on erowid). I did meet some people that had smoked DMT produced from the grass. It would be down to huge natural variation in amounts present in each grow. DMT-Nexus would probably have a thread which would have tests on the plant.
It is also down to the strain. In Australia there are sellers that sell the strains with the highest DMT concentration.

Here is the best extraction guide on Erowid.

This looks very interesting, me and a friend have been considering it for some time now. In the interests of harm-reduction, is lye the same as what we call drano in Australia? The guide says that the lye is sodium hydroxide, and that's what drano is. Is there a difference in quality or something?

Don't use Drano, as it's not pure sodium hydroxide.
The best brand to use is Mechanix, which can be found at Bunnings or most supermarkets.
