Hey everyone
This is my first post on BL, so feedback would be appreciated if i have started this thread in the wrong section/my images dont work
today i happened to spy a plant that looked suspiciously like obtusifolia. I took a small branch to help in identification and ive taken some photo on my phone (so sorry 4 the crap quality) .
The plant was a small mallee (multiple trunks). The leaves have that red edging (hard to make out in the photos) which is meant to be characteristic of DMT containing acacia's although ive never seen a plant in person. The leaves are a bit paler than i would have expected which makes me a bit unsure. I understand it is very difficult to id this plant from photo's, especially before the flowers open but some educated guesses would be appreciated

thats a 10c coin but its kinda hard to make out

In other acacias the compound leaf is characteristic of a young growth while the simple leaf is common in the plants mature form. I am unsure whether this is the same for obtusifolia??
Thanks for reading :D
