i enjoy very much the nitrous effects. Which dissociative is more close to nitrous but longer?

Methoxetamine. It's not really that much like nitrous but it's the closest I've tried, and I've tried quite a few dissociatives. Many people in the MXE thread have also noted the similarity. The thing is, though, the similarities end between 1.5 and 2 hours after you dose. Using nitrous on ketamine makes it much more intense and longer lasting as well.

Honestly, I feel nitrous has more in common with other inhalants than it does with other diissociatives...

Ketamine would probably be closest, followed by MXE simply because of it's relation in effect to ketamine.

Even then, the flanging ("wa-wa-wa") auditory effect is unique to nitrous and reminds me of a mixture of the auditory effects from DMT and cocaine.

MXE/K and DMT would probably come closest to nitrous but would be 10x (at least) more intense.

"Inhalants" is not classed in the same way "disassociatives" is, to my thinking. The former encompasses things like keyboard duster, gasoline, and freon, and the latter is typically associated with NMDA antagonism, though not always. What do you mean?

I think honestly the closest you'll find in terms of a quick comparison is Salvia, simply because of its similar duration and intensity. Though you have to remember that Salvia is a k-Opioid agonist, while Nitrous is an NMDA-antagonist, so their effects will still be quite different. I think though you're likely to find more similarities between these two experiences than between Nitrous and other NMDA-antagonists simply because the short duration and quick jump to peaking is what makes it so unique.

However in this case you asked for something longer, so you're best looking at the NMDA-antagonists once again. Ketamine would be a good bet as it is longer but still not incredibly long (typically lasts between 30-90 minutes depending on dose) and with insufflated, smoked and IM/IV Ketamine peaks incredibly quickly and sends you flying out of this world in a similar manner to Nitrous.

Just remember to treat them like different but similar drugs and I'm sure you'll enjoy :)

I've never thought of "inhalants" as meaning anything more than "gaseous drugs that are inhaled". Alkyl nitrites, volatile solvents, nitrous oxide and other anaesthetic gases are all generally considered inhalants, AFAIK. As such, I don't think it's a more useful way to classify drugs than it is to talk about "pills in general".

Now that it's been brought up and I think about it: I.V. MXE is a lot like nitrous. Pressure on head, instantaneous but short lived dissociative action, auditory effects.

I.V. K however, made me feel like I was just on the verge of passing out with a very nice "afterglow". This may just be my subjective experience from the one time I've done K I.V. though.

Having tried nitrous, methoxetamine, and DXM, I would say methoxetamine was closest. I noticed the similarity immediately when I started hearing flanging of sounds. The most notable difference was that methoxetamine lasted far longer and had less euphoria than nitrous.

hehe, I see that is difficult recreate the nitrous experience with other longer duration dissociatives. For me, nitrous would be perfect if the effects were like 20 minutes at least :)

I think what you want is a nitrous tank and an oxygen tank, and two hoses. I've heard of people hooking up a supply dentist style (probably shouldn't be attempted without an O2 tank to supplement) and just sitting around for an hour breathing a nitrous and oxygen mix. You've gotta find a tank first, though. I'm not sure how healthy it is ...
