I have a bottle of Diphen/Atropine 2.5/.02 I couldn't find any info. Usual questions - rec dosage - effects etc. Don't mind injecting if its safe and worth it.
I found this on it:
Since diphenoxylate is chemically related to some narcotics, it may be habit-forming if taken in doses that are larger than prescribed. To help prevent possible abuse, atropine (an anticholinergic) has been added. If higher than normal doses of the combination are taken, the atropine will cause unpleasant effects, making it unlikely that such doses will be taken again.
And then this was one of the side effects:
"exaggerated feeling of elation"
Anyone ever tried this?

I would just like to say for the record, now that ive seen several posts that mention atropine... Atropine is a nuerotoxin. You can find it in thing like Nightshade (belladonna). it affects Acetycholine nuerons by locking open ion channels in the brain. Or put simply, BAD.

"blind as a bat, mad as a hatter, red as a beet, hot as a hare, dry as a bone, the bowel and bladder lose their tone, and the heart runs alone."
have fun...........

I was administered atropine at the hospital when a doctor gave me an IM injection of Serenace (serenace is primarily an anti-psychotic, but also has anti-nausea properties, and it was given to me in that context)-reasoning was, the medical centre had no Maxalon which is a far more common anti-nausea medication.
Serenace can have an adverse reaction to a small percentage of the population...symptoms are spasming in the back and neck (think of Regan in the exorcist

) difficulty breathing, temporary loss of sight.
