Dimenhydrinate

I am on a detox taper from oxycodone. I am all out of benzos. I am not dope sick per say, but I am tweaking out here. I NEED something to calm me down. Monday I will ask my doc for Xanax as I blew through 60 0.5mg k-pins in 4 days. Clearly they aren't potent enough.

Anyhow I have 400mg of dimenhydrinate here and I am wondering if it would make a useful crutch for tonight. When I was downing 500mg oxy in a go I'd take 150 and be lucky if I didn't puke. Is 400 too much? I just want to knock myself out. I was about to say I was getting brain zaps similar to SSRI W/D but then I realized I forgot to take my Cymbalta today, hah.

Anyhow, dimenhydrinate: yea or nay and what dose?

(Going to do 200mg now because I know I can handle that NP.)

Well if your still awake 150 mg should be enough 200 will give you slight delirium. It'll also problem make you feel like you weigh 5000 pounds. Anything over 250 will make you see spiders and shit so ya

Stick with 150 mg

Thing with antihistamines is that it doesn't get more sedating at higher doses - rather, it has a 'sweet spot' where it works best. At higher dosages, as Mortal said, you'll end up getting the anticholinergic effects, like mild delerium. I wouldn't take any more if you've already done 200mg.

I don't like spiders... I do well on 600mg DXM.
