About a month ago I was with my friend Kent at his Aunt Jen's house. I was bored out of my fucking mind. We were all sitting around in the living room watching TV and Kent was smoking a bong. Aunt Jen was getting drunk. I decided I wanted to have some fun so I got out the little container of dramamine I had got earlier in the day. I took 8 pills around noon and waited for the effects to kick in.
The wait seemed like forever. 45 minutes passed and I still didn't feel ANYTHING. I was wondering if I should take the other 4 pills in the bottle. Then after 50 minutes I finally began to feel the effects and five minutes after that it was coming on strong.
I couldn't look at the TV anymore because my eyes kept being drawn to a large blue plastic tub against one wall. I kept looking at it and seeing weird designs moving and swirling on it. Then I looked at the wall and it was the same way. When I looked back at the box, it was almost like a TV screen. I saw a little dog (like snoopy) dancing around on it and waving his ears around in the air. I saw lots of other images but that's the only one I remember now.
Even the air moved and looked like it was made of thousands of little speckles that were all moving and I kept seeing things out of the corner of my eyes. At around 1:30 (i'm guessing) I got up to use the bathroom. As I stood up I felt like I was a mile tall and my legs felt strange and heavy and I walked all crazy. When I came back to the living room I sank onto the couch again. I felt really good, almost felt stoned.
I went into a state of deep deep faraway complex thoughts and then Aunt Jen said something and it jerked me back to reality. I felt very frustrated because I was enjoying my thoughts, but not for anything could I remember what I was thinking about. This happened several more times. Then Aunt Jen's friend Foster came over and sat down on the couch and started trying to visit with me. I remember just kind of sitting there starring at him, trying to comprehend what he was saying, but it was very difficult. I tried to talk too, but kept forgetting what I was saying, mid-sentance. Finally I gave up and just said, "I'm so fucked up on dramamine right now!" After a while he left me to my thoughts again. Those very deep thoughts that took me to another world.
I kept hearing things too. Once I could have sworn I heard a voice of someone right next to me, but when I looked up, I was the only one in the room.
By 4:00 most of the visuals were gone but I still felt kind of fucked up in the head. I was getting tired of this though so I decided to play my guitar. I played a couple songs and then decided to write down the lyrics to one of my songs. However, when I tried to write, the letters looked all hollow and doubled and they jumped around on the page. I gave up on that and just played my guitar some more.
By 5:00 I was feeling very very drousy and couldn't keep myself awake any longer. I went into the bedroom and laid down. I slept for about an hour and woke up feeling very disoriented and depressed.
Gradually I began to feel more "normal" though and overall it was a fun thing to do on a very boaring day. There was a lot more visuals than what I wrote about, but to be honest, I can't really remember a lot of it now.
