hey guys i'm new here and my spelling is not that good. but I have a real big problem real big. I take 3 real strong pain pill's with Percocet/oxycontin/dilaudid/valuim/ and some other pill's but the problem i'm having is that I have been taking these kind of drug's for 13-14 year's. but I take these pill's because of real bad headache's that I get on a every day basic my headache's are so bad that sometime's even the strong dilaudid does not help I have been to Detox for 10 day's. and mf that was hell on earth I have been clean for 6 week's this happened about 2 year's ago my headache's where so bad I had to go back on these pill's and it's killing me. because when I was off these pill's for 6 week's crazy thing's where in my head. I did not feel right. then I said to myself i'm going to try to take a dilaudid then all the pain went away now I no why DR don't like to give these pill's out, because once the devil has your soul it does not want to give it back ty my brothers

Hi di:\ check out the dark side, u will find a lot of answers & really great bunch over there. Very informative , very.

Hey dilaudid. :) As 1lost said, The Dark Side is a great place to find supportive people that have been where you are now and will help you. I'm going to go ahead and move this thread over there so you can get more input.

I wish you the best. <3

mannnn i feel you dude. i was in a detox at a rehab i was recently at, only for the night though.

it is hell on earth..its w/d mixed with the company of 50 other strung out junkies. horrid.

if youve got 14 years behind this process, you have a serious addiction my friend, id understand why bad things came back if you stopped a habit that large so quick.

now are you prescribed the medications you take because a doctor has evaluated your headache problem? or do you self medicate?

Best of luck brother

Trouble is, doctors don't like to give meds so heavy for headaches. The most I got was fiorecet. But I've played the pain doctors when I had back trouble and got stronger meds but it didn't end well. I guess you get them from an alternate source but you must pay a shit ton of money too. Do you have a doctor that you can see? There are other drugs besides opiates to help your headaches. In my experience, I had rebound headaches that kept coming back after the opiates wore off. I still have neck and back problems but can't go back on the oxys. I just can't take them as prescribed because in the past I went nuts with them. I don't want to put myself through that again. Try and see a doctor and get on suboxone for your opiate addiction. They might be able to give you something specifically for headaches. Maybe even refer you to a neurologist. You've suffered too long and need help!

Yes you deserve a nice ending. And I was just curious if you had found a croaker to prescribe those for you, because it would be extremely difficult/expensive to fund that habit from the street...most switch to heroin after a short time with that sort of medication not being so readily available and or not so cheap after a year or so.

headaches and migraines can absolutely be debilitating however i have never ever heard of a doctor prescribing meds like that for headaches
have you been checked for underlying issues?
have you tried going to neurologists who specialize in migraines and headaches? Perhaps there are some research trials or something?
also i don't know you but it sounds like you are in the difficult position of having real pain and an addictive personality and i feel for you...

hey D -
im in a similar boat. i have real pain and can't take narcotics as prescibed....i read that someone suggested suboxone - after weeks of horrible wds i've considered suboxone, but don't know how i'd pay for them. i feel like i'd rather not get strung out on anything again - as suboxone is still an opiate....i don't have an answer- but do know, because i've been here before, that it makes sense that u didn't feel "normal" after detox - it takes A LONG time to feel normal after being dependant on prescrition opiates. i don't know why, but it seems like rx opiates r so much harder to kick than street dope...i've kicked both, and w/ds off the legal shit always takes sooooo much LONGER
be strong - let us know how u r-
g

ps. r u scoring pulls on the street? that's a bad idea, for so many reasons...

I had at home injectable imatrex for my migrains and it worked wonders. I also used a few medications that were for migrain pervention but can't remember the names. I also had dilaudid in a suppository for when the pain got intense. I specified that I wanted the dilaudid in that for because I was less likely to abuse it in that form. Going to see a neourologist helps alot because unless you have a doctor who they themselves have had migrains no one understands how dibilitating the pain can be. Best of luck to you and wishing you lots of pain free days
