I have several questions, it seems my teacher left me high and dry with lots of questions.

First - I was told by an experienced person to save your residue from your spoon after your shot because it has a lot of Dilaudid still in it and to trash it would be a waste. I tried this and when I reheated it it exploded on me, I think because it was too thick and held in the heat. So, if someone has done this what is the procedure?

Second - When preparing the shot and heating the Dilaudid with the water how long should I heat it for, should I bring it to a small simmer? I have heard that heat destroys the opioid so I am unsure.

Last - how much water per pill, I usually do anywhere from 2-4 4mg pills depending on the time of day and my pain level at the time. So for 2 pills I was told 50ml, 3 - 60ml, and 4 - 70 to 80ml. What is your idea of what is best.

Any advice even if not asked above would be appreciated.<3
 
^^^Yeah just crush,add powder to cold water,stir it up good and filter...Also Hydromorphone is extremely water soluble,so any amount of drug that may remain would be negligable
 
Tommy said it, don't heat ! Use cold water. Hydromorphone is soluble in cold water. Heating it just contaminates your shot with those nasty binders and fillers that you don't want inside your body. Also, if you don't, micron filter please ! It really works wonders.

Edit: That leftover residue in your spoon is mostly just the binders and fillers that are not water soluble. The amount of hydromorphone left in there, if any, is not worth it its such a small amount. Just trash it.

with most dilaudids heating isn't dangerous cause it's mostly lactose, might kill some germs but won't sterilize it, so it might not be worth it to heat it. hydromorphone will dissolve fine in room tempature water, but if it makes you feel better to heat it, heat until you barely see bubbles and stop. Really you should clean your spoon with bleach then water after each use, this will help prevent infections that often effect shooters.
 
^ Most have lactose anhydrous, and magnesium stearate. It also may contain traces of sodium metabisulfite. Why risk letting that stuff build up in you by heating it into the solution? Like you said, heating it won't sterilize it, and the hydromorphone will easily dissolve without heating it, so don't heat it.
 
Try to get the dilly as fine as you can preferably with a hose clamp.
Ad to your spoon.
Give it a good 30ml of purified h20.
I like to mix it a bit with the back end of a rig.
Drop a small cotton piece in the spoon.
Draw.
Find a spot and enjoy :)
Ps. No real need to melt anything pharmaceutical sept maybe morphine er.
And save the stuff left in the spoon. U prolly got like 25 or so percent left in there.

I find that the water that the filler sucks up still does in fact have hydroM in it. If it was dry there would be nothing, but it's never totally dry; now, with brand name tablets that's different. They leave minimal residue and almost everything is in solution so it's all drawn up.

But there is a way to solve that problem and get it all in your syringe. Also, we know that hydroM also has a great solubility, so whatever small amount of water we add to the "wash" or the leftover, it will grab everything in the solution, and again run into the problem of the water holding in the gunk of generics. So, if need be leave enough room for a second wash, and voila, you have your whole pill in solution, just like a brand name. All with no heat required. I'm not going to harp about the safety rules right now, they're on every other post on here; just use your common sense. Filter well (micron preferre), if not, tightly packed cotton. We all know double and triple filters never hurt. Have fun, and be safe. I use my hydromorphone IV as well, at least when the pain is bad, and it works like a charm when you're in agony and need a quick solution, so I sympathize with you. Take care amigo

Let me know what you think. I've showed a couple others that hadn't thought to do it, and now every since. It's not anything complex by any means, sometimes we just don't think of doing that, epescially if you're used to the PUrdue's

However there is away of avoiding this. You know how we've all heard of people saving their wash until the next day, but if you're anything like me, I'd just rather have the full strength shot instead of 3-3.5mg the first time around. Well, what I do is very simple, instead of using a full syringe for my additional draw, so I can put in another 20 units to do a wash

Yeah I would definitely do this as well. You seem very experienced with those dillies. Nice.
 
Can someone lay out the whole process?

Crush (if Im taking 2, 4mg Dillies to help my pain, I probably would only need to inject 1, 4mg to get the same effect? Or should I stay with two. My tolerance is very very high so I could probably do the same does, would that give me a better/longer pain reliefor would it all just be an instant and a waste to waste two?) I've had a transplant and have been on all types of drugs from this and my pain is getting so bad sometimes I need a faster way to get it in. I was ok with parachuting my OCs but now Im getting the non-crushable OPs and cant seen how to cut it into a find white power without it ending in clumps..

I would crush the Dillie and put it in a spool and dilute it with 30ml of water? Stir it up? Then what from there?

What's this thing with the cotton ball?
I don't think I boil it like you do with crack, do I just insert the solution on the spoon into my vein? Or can I just swallow it as is for a faster kick in?

What is filtering and how is the best way to do that? Would I just pour that mixture of the Dillie and the water through a coffee filter? Then what? Or should I get something better?

Any suggestions?
 
You started to IV a drug without doing some serious reading? Even a little research would have taught you never to heat dilaudid. You're playing with your life dude, take it seriously and learn everything you can before you ever stick a needle in your arm.

Many years ago this may have been easier said than done, but with the Internet and forums like this there is no excuse.

As far as IV dilaudid goes, I've been doing it for a year without a single problem. Every single question you're asking has been answered many times, both in here and in online FAQs. Please do yourself a favor and put down the keyboard for now; before you ask more questions, just spend an evening or two READING up in here and you'll be golden.
