nervonic acid is a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid and very difficult to find naturally in the diet.
i did some research and found that it is possible to obtain it from very few sources, plants and microorganisms like marine bacterium and some molds.
i also found it in the typical yeast for making alcohol, Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
I have no idea about the content in it tho, but i also read this
"Most added wine yeasts are strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, though not all strains of the species are suitable".
so, im questioning this, is it possible to get this rare fatty acid from wine after being fermented from the yeast that is supposedly having a good amount of it ?
