different strains of weed in aus...

Most of my friends that have been busted by the copper chopper have been growing very small plants, so if your time is up, it's up. The bright green sticks out like a sore thumb from above.

I always wondered how choppers detect crops, is it a rumour that cannabis plants can be detected by infa red or other light spectrums as opposed to other plants in the area ?

I never used too. Weed used to give me the giggles and a slightly altered consciousness and nothing else. Nowadays after quitting from abusing heavily I get very pronounced psychedelic effects. With a heavy bodyload (not sure if its the tobacco or the hyge I'm smoking etc), visuals and a very different headspace.

For me, it was after experiencing LSD that marijuana became a different kind of monster. :\

No not together. I hadn't used weed in a while as I was bored, started using psychedelics, then after that when I tried weed again it was completely different to how it used to be. I never use weed anymore, I've tried it again multiple times over the past few years and it always just fucks me up. Really strange.

Marijuana gives off a specific heat signature as do most plants. however when a helicopter flys over woodland in the US anyway most of the natural plants are not weed so it is easier to spot them among little bushes and so on..Tomato plants give off a similar heat signature to weed, and cedar trees and pines are similar in color and can block out the heat signature from the weed, especially if the plants are spread out properly among a grove of cedar trees smaller in size like 4-6 feet tall when they are more bushy looking..

That's interesting. It wasn't until after abusing weed for years and then quitting for around 6 months that has caused it to happen with me.

I've heard from an officer about choppers sussing outdoor stuff in suburbs at certain times during the year (at harvest would be a main time I'd guess) Have seen choppers with what looked like camera modules underneath flying very low in the last couple months...always during the day.

Then I've heard from others that seemed in the know that they need a warrant to do that...so I'm not really sure what to think. I guess the officer carries more weight with reliability but I've heard some totally incorrect stuff from them at times as well.

The cycle you guys have explained seems very common.

1. Start using cannabis
2. Start abusing it
3. after x time of abuse quit completely
4. going back to it after abstinence produces very psychedelic and strong effects (usually described as even stronger then when they started smoking for the first time)

Heard this countless times over the years...could just be subjective and the users don't remember what their first times were like, or it could be that they're smoking as much as they did when they had a tolerance to it. Could be about a million others things as well.

Anyway that's probably for another topic. *snip* deleted some of the offtopic

Cheese is circulating Adelaide atm, strong sativa bud with a wicked high.

They do get here but usually only if you grow yourself or know some one who grows the strains.

Any chance of posting a small photo or a description on what it's like mate? Could be considered harm reduction for those who turn lazy pants and neglect their responsibilities when smoking the regular indica.

^ I don't think they need a warrant for it... as long as they aren't flying so low as to be in the airspace that is considered yours, but then that would be pretty dangerous.

Since no mods have objected..

I know PI's (and I'd assume these laws would also apply to LE) aren't allow to film (video or still) inside private premises. Whether this extends to backyards though I'm not entirely sure.

^ If they are outside your property (e.g. in public airspace) and see something illegal occurring in your backyard which is basically plain sight from up there, they could probably then get a warrant to inspect your property up close.

ive had white rinho twice white widdow once purple blueberry bud once northin lights a few times and red beard all knocked my head off when i had blueberry that was the first time i watched pinapple express

I can get northern lights seasonly, it's probably my favourite strain. Just simply amazing. Had white rhino once, we were out in an infamous se melb suburb when we met some people. Went back to their house and got offered a cone of it. Five minutes or so after smoking it, I tried to stand up and completely whited out. Woke up several hours later in a daze, not knowing what the crap happened. Same thing happened to my other two mates, who were serious stoners at the time. Crazy shit
