Dissociatives Different flavors/blends of ketamine...please explain

So a little random, but I've been working at an analytical lab, and there is this certain type of sand that rumor says comes from a certain country. Anyway I found out by actually checking with a GC/MS that it contains a small amount 2%? of DCK, deschloroketamine. I have yet to do the data analysis on it I just say 2% from looking at the peaks.

Woah... that's pretty interesting. Does that seem a little too high to be accidental? Intuitively to me it does, and I'd say would be enough to definitely alter the character of the experience... I admit to always being pretty skeptical at the idea of deliberate DCK cuts in ketamine but I guess I was wrong. Do you have any other info about that sample? Like, was it otherwise ketamine, or were there other inactive/bulking type cuts?

Incidentally, for those seeking mxe effects, 3-MeOPCE is probably the best bet, as it's mxe without the keto group (so you don't get isomers)
I just noticed this post but... really?! I'm aware of your own prestige and relevance when it comes to this topic but if it was anyone else saying this I think I'd be pretty dismissive... 😄

I mean chemically close they might be but IME the 3-x-PCx group all occupy a space which does not overlap significantly with the disso-space within which MXE rests... wouldn't DMXE be a better recommendation?

I've actually seen DCK in several samples at this point. Typical ratio i see is >1% DCK 2% ketamine hydroxylimine precursor, and Ketamine. Seen the precursor as high as 6%

I'm not sure if it's a deliberate cut or if it's from dirty reactors or possibly impure precursor. I definitely keep seeing it though.
