What is the verdict? My research ( digging into it through the web) has come to the conclusion that large differences are allowed (20% +/- the active ingredient). As well as the slight or not so slight difference caused by inactive ingredients.

Personally I have always noticed a difference when switching from say my current celexa brand to another. And now I am forced to switch my celexa and lamictal at the same time to different brands, I am having to readjust quite a bit.

It is really bothersome to read through the majority of forums about people saying they feel different and others assuring them the FDA makes sure it?s exactly the same.

different formulations make a big difference. binders, excipients, fillers and the crystal polymorph of the drug itself may vary from make to make.

There is extensive data in the scientific literature detailing the differences in pharmacokinetics that happen based on these things.
