Lately I have been worried about these minor chest tightness and pain after doing a few fat lines and smoking a bit with h in a period of an hour or so, apparently the guy I was with said it was .3 or more, I have a tolerance to Adderall and has done uppers before but its worrying, the same night I threw up a few times and didn't sleep, its been 3-4 days and I still feel slight tightness in the left middle chest, I also stopped chronic use of mj and cigs if that has anything to do right after that night, I have been reading these might be common side affects, I used ambien to sleep a few nights after and have been eating healthy, is this temporary, I had my left arm go numb for a little by second day. This has been a major scare for me. Should I take any action? It feels like the tightness is a temporary thing since my high only lasted a day or so, so the amount shouldn't of been that much and hopes you guys can help him out with some information:?. Thank you for the help !

If you're still experiencing these symptoms definitely don't wait to get checked out. Having your left arm go numb is certainly not normal and it was one of the symptoms that prompted my doctor to send me to a cardiologist (I do have mild heart valve disease from empathogen abuse, though it's very unlikely to arise from meth use)

There's a chance it could be anxiety, sure, but do you really want to wait and find out? Please try and at least get an EKG done for your own sake. Best case scenario you get peace of mind, worst case scenario you catch whatever you have early and can work on treating the cause before anything else happens to you.

That's definitely wise thing to do, I will go get checked out and I hope its nothing, can I say that I overindulged in coffee instead of the actual story since I've known my doctor forever and it might be a bit awkward ? Thanks a lot for the help !!!

It is always best to tell medical providers the truth. You wont get rx'd anything of recreational value again, but it can help in diagnosis as the negative health effects of caffeine are definitely milder than those of methamp.

If your doctor finding out bothers you that much, you could always see a different doc. But you still would receive better care seeing your main doctor who knows you better.

In this case it's vital for them to know what really happened. if you say this was a result of drinking too much coffee they're just gonna automatically give you a diagnosis for anxiety without runny any tests. Because even overindulging in coffee won't damage your heart and too much coffee causes anxiety this is what they would automatically jump to. If you tell them you took meth and are now having chest tightness and arm numbness they will be more willing to run an EKG.
