Diclofensine 4-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-7-methoxy-2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline

Allergy test without trouble, just ingested 150mg, will keep yall updated.

2.00: Ingested 150 mg
2.30: Starting to feel some slight stimulation, nothing special yet.
2.45: Slight increase in heartbeat
3.00: Feeling some headrushes, feels stimulating, quite nice altough still really mild
3.30: still feel the same, really mild and kinda boring.

shucks, kinda figured as much. 8) thanks for taking the plunge!

Things didnt really change anymore after that.

I'm still on a low dose (150mg was used in some trials as an antidepressant) so higher doses may be much better, gonna call it a day and one of the days try higher doses.

Sounds about what would be expected from this. No doubt it would make a fairly decent antidepressant, but would be good to know why they dropped it before taking much higher doses - hepatotoxicity seems more likely if the abuse potential is only moderate.

posibly a rather expensive non-quality controlled antidepressant then? :\

What's the half-life? possibly the -OH would shorten it but a long half-life this compound sounds iffy

Allright keep us updated, possible that this chem gets more worthwile at the higher dose range.

A controlled trial with diclofensine, a new psychoactive drug, in the treatment of depression.
Cherpillod C, Omer LM.

Abstract
Diclofensine inhibits the uptake of serotonin, noradrenaline and dopamine. In a controlled study, out-patients suffering from moderate to severe depression were treated with the objective of assessing the new drug's therapeutically effective dose range. Maprotiline was used as a reference drug: fourteen patients were assigned to receive diclofensine and thirteen to receive maprotiline in a double-blind design. Depending on tolerance and efficacy, they were treated for periods ranging from 5 to 150 days. Doses were titrated to the optimum. Findings suggest that a 50 mg daily dose of diclofensine would be sufficient for the majority of the patients. The dosage can be safely increased up to 150 mg daily but this offers few therapeutic advantages. While the efficacy index of the two drugs was similar (approximately 60%), they differed greatly in their profile of side-effects. No signs of abrupt dissipation of the achieved clinical effects were observed during continued treatment, and no withdrawal reactions were observed when the treatment was stopped. The new drug may be more effective in treating patients in whom a psycho-energizing and mood alleviating effect is desired.
It appears that 150mg offers little benefits over 50mg as an antidepressant in this trial, imo its not too unexpected that it isnt very recreational at this dose. Hopefully higher doses have some potential.

^ LOL.

The funniest part of all, the only person (in this thread) who reported taking it happens to be a (steamin' hot) homo, so this one draws a blank ;)

Eh?8o

I'l have to disappoint you guys, it didnt turn me gay=D.

I just wanna let you all know this thread helped me find not one but TWO RC websites with a simple google search :)

Mods I duno what you guys wanna do here but I thought I'd let you know..

You can find vendors with google, who cares? You can find vendors with googling all RC's. There's nothing bluelight can do about that.

Verdict?

Nope. Not rewarding.

I went for about four hours of being stimulated in a weird, anxious, sleepy way before saying "fuck it" and pounding two generic 10 mg Adderall XR's. That made the day better, but a weird, sick stimulation appeared after the Adderall wore off. Woke up the next day, felt mostly fine.

If anyone else wants to give it a shot, please do, but I can't say I'm impressed.

Regards,
TMM.

Thx for posting your experience, I was wondering wheter higher doses could have a more positive effect but it appears that in your experience it only caused anxiety and unpleasant stimulation. In combination with my own experience id say this chem is pretty much worthless recreationally.

I'm still willing to give it another try tough.

blahhhh :(

i was hoping this might be an interesting one. oh well. is it more-ish at all? it sure doesn't sound like it.

What I really wonder is why THIS? Of all the possibilities in the world, why pick what seems to be a random garden-variety antidepressant? Something smells fishy.

Not really, i actually also ended up taking some dexedrine in the end to try to get something positive into the night.

@Jamshyd
Lack of creativity to come up with something great? Certainly dont see any reason for this to become available:|.

well I am guessing the synthesis is extremely well documented( probably included in patent). As such sending off the details to some company in china requires EXTREMELY little hassle. [It's not some NEW RC or unknown chemical]

The mere wiff of "abuse" potential gets all the Bluelighters' et al buying it as if it's some hidden gem. [Hell the guy arranging this might might even be intrigued himself as to any potential benefit - could be on to a winner for all he knows] Iam guessing enough reports will summon to suggest otherwise but in the meantime the importers have off'ed 2kg (+profit) to all the self proclaimed "researchers".

OR of course it could be me being cynical??! but that's how i would predict this one. :|
