very impromptu. no real reason behind it, just hidden meanings which i'm still discovering myself.

Somewhere in this world
A guy dresses up in drag.
Mascara packed neatly in an open case
Every item in its place.

The girl at the other side of the room
Takes another drag.
Her cigarettes packed neatly in rows,
Whose numbers are muddled; the number initially there-
No one knows.

Confusion overwhelms our two studies
He puts on another layer of
Glittered ’shadow and cheap cologne
Bought from Maddy’s.

The stark appearance of the room
Lit only by his light-bulb-laden mirrored-table-
Fills her like an empty bottle
Thrown across the sea by a hand so stable

If it weren’t for her heavy sighs
He’d never know she was there
And as he put on his blue dress,
All she could do was stare.

He walks out of the room first,
One last glance in the mirror;
She looks out the window
And her heart for him it thirsts.

So out the door and into the world
She attempts to self-drag.
Not noticing the people packed neatly in the subway;
Not noticing signs that warn her of her new-lit fag.
