Benzos diazepam

I'm currently on oramorph for severe back pain, and cyclizine for the sickness its caused, I've just been given a few 10mg diazepam tablets for the muscle spasms,, first time user what is the best dose,
I'm 6,3 17.5 stone
i was told to take 20mg and they said you will also feel amazing.. is that a safe dose?

the short answer is probaly - yeah

but much more variables come into play, a doctor would have more information. (for you)

if you have a tolerance with your opiate dose, take a small dose or no dose and try to handle the pain. take 20mg val to see what it does. don't try a car, just don't do that. you might be high for a long time and not notice the effects. it mhay help with pain.(high dose)


really best to start with 5mg or 10mg dose though.

IMO/ime, 20mgs is too much when mixed with opiates, especially morphine.

How much is your dose of morphine?

If you like sedation, you will enjoy the mix of morphine & Valium.......my dosage is 30mg of morphine by itself but when mixed with Valium, its 15mgs of morphine with 5mgs of Valium.

start low like 5 mg because opiates mixed with benzos are dangerous even if you have a tolerance to the morphine

I'm on 10 ml/20mg dose of oramorph, if i take 5mg will i get sedated.. its not the plan as i need to carry on with day to day things. i tried the 20mg last night then i woke up...so it just sent me to sleep... i had took it after 12 am,,, hadn't had any oramorph for about 8 hours previous
