a relative is currently over there and has a torn muscle in his back.. can he legally purchase some from a pharmacy without a script and bring them back into aus. without getting into trouble? my biggest fear is he will get in trouble with those filthy corrupt police due to them being in his possesion then at densapar customs - n of course our customs

can anyone shed light so he doesnt get in trouble that isnt needed?

cheers

I would say that it's best to not risk anything when it comes to SEAsia.

Best bet would be to get a script from an Indonesian doctor. Which can be done easily and for not much more than what the medicine costs. That won't please Australian customs though so he ought to ditch them before entering our great nation.

This would be a bad idea for obvious reasons, without a script he can't legally possess diazepam in Indonesia or Australia. If he has a legitimate injury he should have no real problem seeing a doctor and getting it done legit.

I am closing this thread, the question has been answered and I don't want to leave it open for potential smuggling advice. Possessing and travelling with prescription drugs without a prescription is clearly against the law, and bluelight isn't here to help people circumvent the law.
