Misc Diazepam and Dexchlorpheniramine

Would the use of this antihistamine potentiate the effects of diazepam, namely the anti-anxiety effects? I found these 2 mg antihistamines in my bathroom ... they have been there for a while. Forgot I had them. Also, is it safe to combine the two? And does this antihistamine produce anti-anxiety effects when taken alone? Thanks!
 
Perhaps a little. I am not sure if d-chlorpheniramine retains the chlorpheniramine racemates affinity for the SERT, which may in part underlie the anxiolytic properties of chlorpheniramine.
