Diablo III

Diablo 3 errors and bugs yes i need help and so do others

Well ive been playing diablo 3 since 12am may 15 and have found it to be a great game very addiciting. Like all great games there comes a load of bugs and errors some diablo3 users fixed them others are still suffering or are tormented by them. Ive made this help all diablo3 players in there bugs and errors. Im going threw an error where i cant launch the game it stays stuck on the launch saying "an error occurred while updating required files. please try again." Its been almost 24 hours and I havent found anything that will help me. If any of you can help me fix this error id appreciate it. As for others having diffrent errors or bugs post them here and we will try to get this game working for all those who waited to play it for over 10 years. The forums for this doesnt help one bit at battle net since there are such a large number of these errors.

Now that I am able to get online and am figuring out how the skill system works, I actually think the game is decently fun. It seems like you eventually get to make strategic choices when you are a high level and have a bunch of skills to choose from.
My main suggestion would be to wait awhile until the price comes down and more of the errors are corrected. Right now its 60 $ for a game you may or may not even be able to play..

All games have bugs in them to my knowledge yet PC's all run on different operating systems so more bugs or errors and yes it is a drag to a great game

I'm a lvl 34 wiz :D
I'm in the middle of act 1 nightmare. I have 57% magic finding :D.
I don't feel so bad about pouring hours into this game, with the real currency auction house and all.

Im totally addicted to thins game.

I actually like the character creation system. D2 didnt allow you to try out different skills. This game lets you try every ability when you make a hero. Graphics are great, story is.... the same as d2 but whatever. I am entertained. I have a 32 wizard and some other 10+ characters.

It's insane the hype for this man, it's wild so many gaming this, I do it myself, and damn it's fuckin lovely!=D

Yes you will probably be able to sell everything for half a bread.

Awesome game so far. I'm halfway through Nightmare difficulty and it's getting pretty tough. Lot of the mobs - especially the elites - are crazy strong.

Goodjob Blizzard.

Love this game!!!

Little dissapointed that it feels more like WoW than it diablo 2 but thats okay. Im currently using a level 16 Demon Hunter and today is my first day playing. What character do you guys believe is the most fun?

Im level 52 now starting act 2 hell mode on my wizard and also have a lvl 27 barb in act 4 normal. Really fun game, im glad blizzard was courteous enough to release it after the school year ended..... lol.

Yeah that shit is real gay. I want to be able to use DIII with out internet. I think it is unfair for blizzard to keep it battlenet only, but they want to prevent people from being able to download the single player and play through the whole game. Honestly I can care less playing online with diablo games.

If anyone has a guest pass I'd gladly take it :P

When I get my first pay check in the next few weeks I plan on picking up the game.

Here are some guest passes.

This game is awesome. Im lvl 57 and hell mode is really hard to solo and There is another mode that is even more crazy, im thinking they will definitely nerf the enemies or make better items available relatively quickly. Some of the high level elite packs are so insane there is no way to kill them currently.

Ive just started act 1 inferno. Its very hard. My buddy has been trying act 2 and he says its basically a brick wall. He is a monk tank and he still gets killed in a couple hits by regular enemies.

^ Im still having fun with it.

About 1/2 way through act 2 on inferno, this shit is really really hard. Im rolling with and all out defensive/kiting build on my wizard and it seems to work. I have over 30khp and I still get killed in a couple hits : /

Definitely a big, frustrating challenge.

Still working my way through act 2, almost finished with the last quest before Belial. Anyone else here playing on inferno?

I get tons of really good gear and i can only have 10 things up on the auction house at a time so I end up selling good stuff sometimes. PM me your email if anyone wants to be friends in-game.

I haven't checked out DIII yet, but I'm curious -- how are deaths handled in this game? I know that a lot of other dungeon-crawler RPGs have an annoying system in which, after dying, you can simply respawn with a small penalty and continue hacking your way through the game, rather than death necessitating a revert-from-save. Which makes the game require no skill whatsoever, allowing you to play carelessly, because death isn't really an issue.

Death is almost a non-issue in this game.

However I wouldn't say that it requires no skill. Many elite packs in inferno take minutes of careful kiting to kill, and kill your character in a couple hits. UNless you have the right class with the right skill build and good gear, its nearly impossible.

If you are looking for a challenging game right off the bat then you wont find it here, its pretty much mindless hack and slash for quite some time.
