Awesome. I loved the first 2 versions of this game. Hope it lives up to what the first 2 had! :D

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Its been a while since Diablo II, and many of its fans have grown up since then and have played countless other games. It would be a big challenge for blizzard to appease its old Diablo fan base.

They have both nostalgia and quality working for them. I say quality because when is the last time Blizzard made a crappy game?

holy crap
never played diablo before but im gonna be getting this.

That's what Blizz is good at.
I have no doubt Diablo 3 will please old and new fans alike.

Looks like that Witchdoctor class will replace necros, as the Blizzard D3 FAQ says there will only be 5 character classes and I doubt they will have two 'summoner' classes. Oh well, regardless of which classes are returning, I'm psyched that they finally announced this game; I still refresh my three D2 account from when it first came out. It's about damn time %)

It doesn't look like it's a system intensive game. It looks like it would run on even older gaming machines. Maybe it's because it's still "in development." I'm definitely buying, but I didn't buy a tricked out gaming machine for new games to be low end! ;)

The only other top down RPG that has enjoyed any kind of mainstream success since Diablo has been Dungeon Siege and it wasn't that great of a game.

You'd be surprised how easy it is to make a shitload of money in the gaming industry just by releasing a "decent" niche game that has been barren for awhile.

I've been wishing for a good top down RPG like Diablo (hopefully one that focuses on multiplayer more and preventing cheating) and I know a lot of other people have been too.
