diabetes type 2 and drugs

what i dont get is just thern i got a reading of 9.1 ( very good for me) then i thought.. doesnt seem right.
i checked twice after that.. back at 15.1 (and on max meds, taking 2 glyade now and the max amount of diabex a day). its an easylife machine. i dont like the idea it can give false readings, or maybe it was because the first prick that measured 9 was because not enough blood comes out.

so since insulin is SC injection. i assume there is a sting though. i know i sound like a baby but i would rather IV over SC or IM any day. veins dont have nerve pains

both IV and subcut go through the skin, so it's the same really! but let your Dr be the judge of all this.
but the novopen needles are just like finger prick size and you do that don't you?

the readings must be fine if you have consistent readings of the same amount, and 15 is not good control! depends on when you ate.though. fasting (wake up and test b/f breakfast)and 1 hours post food is a good measure. . some nurses say to wipe the finger first b/c people can eat and leave sugar on their skin. it's pretty sensitive but the Dr will do a HbA1C that shows the last 3 months of sugar control (red blood cells live 120 days so it shows that average of glucose on RBC's)
