DHC and methadone, tolerance, blockade etc

I was wondering if for example, someone had a habit of 100mg methadone a day, whether Dihydrocodeine would work, and if it did, would it work well enough to not only keep woithrawals at bay, but at high enough doses do something more?

From whati understand Methadone has a blockade effect at 100mg+ doses, but on the other hand, DHC has no "ceiling" like codeine so it maybe of use for someone withdrawing from methadone.
