Misc dextromethorphan vs coricicin constapation?

I am just wondering If any one can help me out with this, I notice when I take coricidin, like 4-7 a day for like 5-6 days in a row I get really constipated and my stomach hurts and gets really big and bloated like I am pregnant,really it gets big. I gained 3 pnds in 1 wk and I work out 4 days a week and eat rite.I am wondering if its the stuff in the coricidin besides the dxm or does dxm make others constipated and bloated? I just do not want to take the coricidin anymore because of this awful side effects.Do products that just contain dxm do the same? If anyone can give me some insight into this It would be mucho appreciated!

coricidin is very dangerous to abuse. the chlorpheniramine maleate is very bad to take in large doses with DXM.It is the most dangerous chemical in all of cough syrups. It can cause heart problems, seizures, bleeding from just about every oraphace you can think of, liver damage, and fatalities. This is the last thing you want to drink.

this is why you are getting stomach pains. the chlorpheniramine is the root of your problems. stop right away. if you want to DXM, take some delsym, if you must.

Thanks alot! no more coricidin for this girl. what about robitussin cough gels, I have tryed them and I like them and they only have dxm in them. I'll look into the delsym.I do not need that constipated,bloated shit!
