Dextromethorphan for stim tolerance - will alcohol ruin it?

I desperately need to reverse a tolerance to my therapeutic-only methylphenidate. This will be only my second consecutive day without any, and I have 14 days before I have to go back to work and will need it to work again. I've bought a once-daily multi-supplement containing 15mg of zinc and 150mg of magnesium (no calcium, in case that messes it up) to help with the tolerance. Unfortunately the only dextromethorphan products I can find, all contain alcohol, which increases levels of dopamine, exactly what I need to avoid in order to reverse methylphenidate tolerance. By how much alcohol does this, and whether in the prefrontal cortex where it matters, I don't know. The brand I've bought is 2.5% ethanol, and contains 7.5mg of DXM per 5ml.

My question is, will that proportion of alcohol in the medicine, be enough to increase my PFC dopamine levels so much that taking it will actually keep the dopamine receptors down-regulated, or cancel out the effects of the DXM on them?

Thank you many times for any help,

Sasha
