Stimulants dextroamphetamine and antacids

I heard something about your stomach ph effecting the the absorbtion of amphetamines and was wondering if it was advisable to take tums or another antacid before popping dexies. Would this be overdoing it? Should i take tums the night before?
 
It's OK to take a tums before taking your dexedrine, it isn't going to boost it a whole lot though.

The best way to get the most out of your medication: eat right, sleep well, exercise, and make sure to be taking vitamin supplements.
