Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) or Desoxyn? (methamphetamine)

Do some people really feel the l-isomer make the drug more recreational?

In my experience Dexedrine is much better than Adderal as it does not have the negative side effects related to the l isomer in addies.

Addies make me feel much more anxious and jittery than straight dex.

No the l-isomer definitely sucks. Dexedrine kills Adderall. But when it comes to methamphetamine - street meth is a racemic mixture of d- and l- methamphetamine is much stronger and more euphoric than the Desoxyn - which is dextro-methamphetamin, so only d-meth.

As far as pharmaceutical amphetamines go Dexedrine is #1.

Thread is old, but I have to say, isnt the l isomer of methamphetamine the same thing in vicks nasal inhalers? how would it make street meth stronger? I would have to think the only reason street meth is stronger is because the pharmaceutical grade pills are in like 2 mg doses, much smaller than a recreational line even if it isnt enantiomerically pure.

Most street meth now is no longer racemic. P2P cooks produce racemic meth, but all other methods (including shake and bake) produce the d-isomer only. If you purify "street meth" enough, you'll essentially be left with the same thing as "desoxyn".

As to adderall, it is 75% dextroamphetamine and 25% levoamphetamine.
