I couldn't find a thread on this topic focused on side effects.
I am regretting it, but I recently asked my doc to go on vyvanse instead of dex (theres a reason).

I went from 50mg dex a day to 140mg vyvanse a day,
Today's my first day on it and I have experenced much worse anxiety and jitteriness on Vyvanse.
Has anyone else had simmilar expierences?

Dextroamphetamine and Levoamphetamine are both Amphetamines. Amphetamines are known to cause increased anxiety and jitters. If you have anxiety then maybe Amphetamines are not for you.

Dextroamphetamine is the smoothest of the bunch, that's for sure. Levoamphetamine is very harsh and causes pretty bad anxiety.
Maybe talk to your doctor and ask for a Dexedrine prescription? It's 100% Dextroamphetamine. Adderall is 75% Dextroamphetamine and 25% Levoamphetamine.
The Levoamphetamine is probably what's making you so anxious.

I've been on amphetamines for years.
The only one I really think is worth taking so far is dexedrine.

Plus vyvanse doesn't have levo-amp

My apologies, for some reason I thought you were taking Adderall.
What amphetamines have you been on for years? It's odd how you like Dexedrine but not Vyvanse, Lisdexamfetamine is the prodrug of Dextroamphetamine. They're very close to the same thing.

Vyvanse is the prodrug to d-amphetamine, so if the dosing is done right the effects are identical. The only difference is that effects are delayed while Vyvanse is broken down, so it is theoretically a bit smoother in dosing. I think you may simply be on a bit too much of it.

Does the anxiety come in waves? If so, try splitting the doses further.

Otherwise, I'd try decreasing the overall dosage somewhat.

You can also start taking niacinamide or afobazole for anxiety, both are way safer than a benzo and don't have anything in the way of side effects.
