Dexedrine and Tramadol mix? Safe?

Hey bluelighters,

I was wondering; i have a bunch of dexedrine tabs 10 mg, and i took 20 mg and snorted 10mg this morning.
would it be okay to take 100mg of tramadol/ ultram(two 50mg pills)?
I know tramadol either works somewhat like a SSRI or MAOI so im a little nervous just to drop without knowing the interaction well enough.

The drugs.com interactions checker finds nothing. Tramadol does have SSRI activity and dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine) does have mild serotonin level increasing action, although most of its action is on other neurotransmitters.

It's a safe combination to try, but always start at lower doses. Tramadol is very fickle with its effects from person to person, and carries the nasty possible side effect of seizures. But, at those doses, you should be OK, do you have a tolerance to dextroamphetamine and/or tramadol?

^That's what I was saying, however, if the OP has a tolerance to Dexedrine and tramadol the risk is very low, with tolerance to tramadol comes tolerance to it's seizure threshold lowering effects.

I'm still saying err on the side of caution and use lowest doses possible for your desired effect. Taking a benzo such as Valium, Ativan or Klonopin will help out the tramadol and increase your seizure threshold, if you want to be extra safe.

I have a tramadol tolerance of 350 mg and a big amphetamine tolerance cause i was just taken off my adderall

I Took 60mg of d amp today and in feeling alright. Not where i wanna be tho. I was wondering if it would be safe to take 150mg of tramadol? I have a pretty big stim tolerance Been usingsince i was 15 with out much of a break. I have a slight opiate tolerance as well

Better question. Is it even a good mix? Im not really goin, more relaxed. I could take my last 15mg of d amp but idk if it would make much of a difference.
