I have problems with dexamphetamine and sleep

at first i sleept for days even on 30mg, my brain finally got a pause. Then i had normal weeks, sleept ok 23-o8.
Anyways nowdays, dex works verry good at the days, but my sleepingdisorder, i cant sleep,
i does not matter i how i take it really.
i took 1,25 yesterday and couldnt sleep untill 08.00 next days almost 24h later. this is wierd. half time is from 9 to 11h

i can just keep adding meds, sleeping pills, nervoussytem pills, cannabis, CBD or whatever but isnt something with my metabolism, stomach problem IBS or i dont know why cant i sleep?

Have your eating and water drinking habits changed at all since starting? Its easy to forget to eat or drink while on stimulants so malnutrition and dehydration are fairly common in stim users and that can impact sleep patterns

Take dextro-Amphetamine about 25 mg morning has no interference.
On, my sleep, i can sleep on 10 mg, might i accidentally feel sleepy.

Which never happened but gettin older who knows.

The Insomnia due to stress, does keep me awake.
Insomnia means a normal dose of a Benzo wont help.
Nor Quetiapine btw. On Me !

A monster Benzo dose will, but that will effect me whole next day,
and i hate that.
And Quetiapine a anti-psychotic, dis-advised medically to prescribe.
For sleep/ Insomnia. So fuck off prescribing crap to clients,
dumb-ass dr s.

But at least on a normal Hypnotic dose, not Midazolam,
but on a longer acting one. You lay awake but relaxed a +.
Had it 2.5 year maybe slept 0.5 year 8 hours/ day. So its obvious you probably have some sort of sleep disorder.

Assuming your not popping 50 mg before going to bed :)

I have the same problem. I don't think there's a solution honestly. Amphetamines are not sustainable drugs long term, is my conclusion.

Recently I just skip nights of sleep sometimes, then sleep for days. It's fucking awful though. Heavy doses of benzos help. Taking one solid dose in the morning, abstaining from caffeine almost entirely, and maybe I'll sleep OK, but the problem is the actual useful benefits of dexamphetamine - for me - do not last long enough for me to cram everything I have to do into a short window in the morning.

The solution is obvious - someway, somehow, break my doctor-endorsed substance addiction to amphetamine. But to do that I'll have to spend a few months with barely the motivation to buy food to eat, let alone earn the money to buy the food and ensure I still have a place to live. Obviously I am just gonna have to somehow figure it out, but yeah, honestly, I don't think there's a solution which doesn't involve adding more drugs, or quitting amphetamine. If you figure one out please report back.

This is why I take Vyvanse as prescribed.

*have to admit that day time sleeping is not an option - for obvious reasons*

@twelvefingers did you have issues sleeping before starting stimulants?
