Hi everyone,

im new here as of yesterday, and I could really use someone to talk to. Today is my second day detoxing from canned computer duster. Next month would have been two years clean for me but I relapsed pretty bad 15 days ago. On my last day/night of using it, I went through 21 cans. When I was into it heavy before I cleaned up, I averaged about 18 cans a day.

i feel awful right now. I haven't slept these two days, haven't eaten, and sometimes like my brain and eyes will cloud over for about 10 seconds, feels just like I'm getting high but I haven't used anything. I'm running around in shorts and a t-shirt because i al so friikken hot!!and my legs and feet won't stop moving. I guess I'm wondering if anyone has experience with those horrible cans and can tell me how long I can look forward to this.

thank you in advance for any and all help.

Welcome to Bluelight :)

You need to tell us what's in those. Can you list the ingredients? They should be written on the can.

Moving this to Sober Living

Good luck!

I can't answer any of your questions or offer any knowledge about that drug but congratulations on stopping. Whatever else you are going through at least give yourself a pat on the back and feel good that you are getting yourself back on track. What happened to precipitate the relapse?

My fiancé dumped me, told me he didn't want me or love me and left. I was devastated. I know I made the wrong decision turning to that horrible stuff, but I didn't know what to do. Today is day 3 and I am much better than day one. I think I might actually make it! Thanks for your reply :)

This is a tough one as we simply do not have a ton of research on the long term effects of these drugs. When did you start using? You might be able to find more info from countries with a larger street children population as they tend to use inhalants more.

i used to love to hit the dust cans. its such a feindish high. come close to dying from it. i used to pass out and piss my self. like my body would just shut down from the lack of O2 to the brain. it gets better man. just keep staying sober.

^fairygurl, are you getting any support for moving on from the loss of your relationship? If you were engaged that sounds pretty serious. Do you have counseling available?
