Hello,
I would like to know if this idea I had works and if it would be safe:

I want to desolve 5g of "speed" in 100ml of 96% proof Ethanol (the rest is just water! Its food grade).
Would this:
1. Work? (I guess so)

2. distroy the Amphetamin Suphite or HCL in it? (As it is street speed IDK if it is one or the other or both)

3. would I be able to evaporate the Ethanol and regain a product (in the best case cleaner than before) or would I loose it in the process?

thanks for the help.

Amphetamine salts actually aren't very soluble in alcohol. Usually street amphetamine is the sulphate. 1 gram of amphetamine sulphate dissolves into 515 ml of 95% ethanol. So for 5 grams of speed you'd need 2.5 litres of ethanol. That would take a while to evaporate :) Amphetamine doesn't react with ethanol, so it won't destroy it. Worst case it will make a mess.

You probably want to do an acetone wash... check out Pill2Chill's guide.

Do you have any idea what your speed is cut with? If you know it's cut with something specific, it's possible to come up with a way to separate it.

but wouldnt ethanol then be a perfect fit to filter out substances that desolve in ethanol? Aceton is hard to get here (I only get the hardware store stuff and thats not "dry" Acton but has a good amount of water with it!
Iam in contact with the vendor to find out if this stuff is the hcl or sulphate and i think ill work with water or ethanol from there. thanks for the help though. and thanks for the aceton wash link! ill do that when i get good aceton!

The issue is, there's not a lot of cuts that dissolve in ethanol. Sugars don't, most common cuts don't, salts don't.

You're welcome to try but there's no guarantee you'll clean anything up :P
