hi, for months i was prescribed ADD meds (vyvanse, desoxyn, adderall xr, and most recently ritalin IR 40mg/day)
i went to my doc (who doesnt like prescribed more than one addicting med at a time) so she took me off the ADD meds and put me on paxil and clonazepam (1mg 2x/day) and at first it was amazing especially when i still had ritalin (just ran out) and lately today i've been feeling down even when on the klonopin (i also have access to 1mg xanax footballs i sometimes take) can these things be related to the depressed-like state im currently in. i loved the euphoric motivated happy feeling that accommodated the ADD meds and now its gone but i still have benzos. any feedback would be appreciated

btw im diagnosed with social anxiety, ADD, and depression

Is there a question here? I recommend stopping the benzos before you become dependant, and replace it with a healthy diet and a lot of exercise.

Since this thread is not going to go anywhere (sorry...) I'm gonna change it up somewhat
Is it nornal to be a more depressed when you awake Monday morning, compared to any other day of the week ?
Yes, (I realize this is the wrong forum) but I figured some people will read it anyway. I could be working a good job, or I could have the day off...but Mondays are always a little more depressing, anybody else ???

I think it's going somewhere already. Different benzos affect people differently. I like or find all useful which I've tried with one glaring exception, my most hated drug which many love: lorazepam AKA Ativan. It quite simply makes me depressed as all hell to the point of physical pain, and I've given it several tries over the years. Clonazepam could just be your nemesis benzo. If there are days you've been off it, I could see the depression lingering for a day as it did for my similar duration lorazepam depression.

Desoxyn to Ritalin to Paxil + clonazepam is quite an odd journey, by the way.

I will agree that Lorazepam will bite you hard in the end, even on a 1 a day prescription.

Clonazepam is one of my favorites but I suffer from anxiety more than depression. Benzos make me feel great if my receptors haven't been touched by them in a while but that great feeling quickly becomes depression and emtional numbness if I keep taking them daily. For that reason, I don't find them addictive like opiates which make me feel great every day with sub at least. Benzos are highly useful only in the very short term.
