Depakote For Stimulant Comdowns

i have ADHD and amphetamines help me a lot, i also like amphetamines for recreation. however i have to quit benzos so i no longer can use them for the comedowns but i'm scripted Depakote which increases GABA and has a sedating/anti-anxiety effect.

i'm perscriped Depakote for benzo taper related problems and the Depakote actually gets rid of any withdrawl symptoms so it has made this taper easy.

i don't want to use opiates for comedowns(addiction) so i was wondering if Depakote would help on stimulant comdowns.

i've read this thread before, and it didn't really shine a light on my question very well and ended up turning into a childish back-in-forth argument(which is why it was closed).

does anybody else have any thoughts or info?

i think so because it increases GABA and is definately sedating, plus it reduces my anxiety/stress.

also being a mood stabilizer i'd think it would "even out" the edgy mood of comedowns.
