Mental Health Depakote & Anxiety (GABA)

I have read how over time Depakote raises GABA levels in the brain. My GABA receptors are shot from years of alcoholism, benzodiazapine addiction & popping Backofen, Lyrica and Gabapentin like candy.
My anxiety and panic is extreme hell as I am trying to kick due to DT's driving me literally mad.
My question is ( forget the side affects ), will this raise in GABA from Depakote help level out my anxieties and possibly restore the balance.

i'd say it's worth trying

for what it's worth, i had to take depakote 750mg/day for 6 months but never noticed any reduction in anxiety. i stopped them "cold turkey" and did not notice increased anxiety or any other side effects either.

your situation is different though, and it could help you, who knows
