Tomorrow gets worse by the second.
I look in the mirror and I don't know who it is I see
I don't think I like it.
A ghost of who I used to be
Destroyed by the evil world I can't escape.
My life spun into mass confusion
Because I've tried to be kind
I seem so stupid, looking in
Brainless.
I'm not
Just a girl trapped in my mixed up world
Who would do anything to get out
To see everything for what it really is.
I don't want to hop from dream to dream
When none of them come true
I wish that at the end of the day I still had
the smile I woke up with
Optimism can only take a person so far...
