No need for novellas. 100 words or less, what's it look like for ya? Seriously.

Being free. No attachments, peace of heart, soul, spirit AND mind with good health.

I'm going to go off on a slight tangent and say that whatever it does look like for the individual, it is an emotion that will exist within a bigger picture of many different emotions both positive and negative and that a sensible goal for the individual is to seek a balance in those emotions that could be defined as 'contentment' rather than searching for the supposed destination of happiness.

Talk about unobtainable goals.

Bartender, popcorn for everyone; that'll make them thirsty enough!!

ot . . . but i think we need a story cap

100 words ftw !!

Unfortunately heroin redefined what "happy" was for me many years ago, and I'm struggling to redefine what that is to this day.

I guess, in my words, happiness equals:

- Health and energy
- Peace of mind, especially from the past
- Confident that what you are doing has meaning in your life
- Having another person to share your happiness (like a wife/friends or something... "happiness is only real when shared" -Christopher McCandless).
- But most importantly knowing without any doubt that what you are doing is achieving your goals, constantly (also HAVING goals).
