but i think not
because now i know what you are
because now i can speak for myself
not totally but in a way
you fear you're losing your grip on me
you fear you will lose the fear
you instilled in me when i was a child
you have to realise this
we have all grown up
there's no point in trying to control us
we are not your puppets
nor are we your weapons
that you use
when you're angry at the father
i am not without faults
and if you detest the way i am
you'd have to loathe yourself
because you're my role model
i'm not blaming you
just wishing you'd see how
who i am is in a way

Why can't mother's just accept us for who we are, and love us anyway?? Grrrr... I hope that your situation improves...

Cosmic - I guess they have 'unfulfilled dreams' that they want to accomplish through us. Thanks for your thought - things are always up and down, but final thing is always the fact they are our mothers. *hugs*
