This seemed to be the correct section to post this but if not my apologies.
Basically I just wanted to get some opinions from the members of these fine forums on a situation I was recently involved in. Basically, a friend wanted me to get him a few oxycodone 30 pills and I told him I could probably be of some help. I meet up with said friend and have a guy at the ready to meet up with whom I have done business with many times and trust. When the time comes to meet up with him he said that something had come up and that he wouldn't be available for a while. My friend insisted that I find someone else and after some searching I found an acquaintance that had some. This person has been sketchy in the past so I told my friend it would be in his best interest if we waited for my trusted guy because I didn't want to be responsible for his lost money if it goes awry. My friend said he didn't want to wait and I finally agreed to go meet the guy on the grounds that I didn't want to be held responsible if it didn't turn out well. So, we meet the guy and he hands me the pills and I hand him the money and they turn out to be fake. I was not very surprised. My friend now holds me responsible and insists that I pay him back and I have told him that I will not because I gave him the option to wait a bit to meet my trusted dealer and he chose to meet the sketchy guy. He is all upset now and expects me to pay him back. Am I in anyway in the wrong for not paying him back? I'd very much appreciate opinions!
