any weed smokers have tips for this? after i smoke weed particularly i get really bad acid reflux (have to burp gas). normally i have very minor acid reflux, and smoking cigartes doesnt affect it.

I would suggest an endoscopy if you can get one. I developed ulcers from excessive drinking & smoking. Being a guy I ignored it until I was hospitalized & it could have been addressed so much sooner if I listened to my body.

I used to get this all the time, but it goes away steadily with tolerance or if I stop paying attention to it (like most negative symptoms of weed seem to for me). Try tums... always helped me. Or just drink lots of soda when you smoke weed to get it over with quicker.

I have several duodenal ulcers and have never experienced this so I doubt that's what it is but I'm no doctor. Take prilosec (omeprazole). I take prescription strength omeprazole for my ulcer and no heartburn gets by that stuff. I would only use prilosec if tums don't work as they are better as an everyday medication.

As a lifetime reflux sufferer, I can recommend a host of natural remedies, I won't use pharmaceuticals (I only abuse), I recommend chewing and swallowing a handful of mint leaves. Works a treat on the guts and freshens your breath. A small glass of milk should help a bit too, but milk doesn't mix well with smoking for me personally. Mint, imho, is your best natural option.

You can also try a few drops of peppermint oil. Sounds odd but it really will calm your stomach.
If it's more serious CaptainKratom is probably right on, you should take Tums or Prilosec if that doesn't help.

I've had GIRD for years and have to watch what I eat, especially greasy or fatty foods set it off. I'm surprised weed aggravates this for you, I would blame the cigarettes first. Is this something new or have you experienced it for a while now? Do you experience nausea also or is it mainly burning liquid when you burp? I ask because I've had two endoscopies done and no real findings. :( If it becomes bothersome get it checked out.

I saw a specialist doctor, ive been taking pills for almsot three months and it went from burping gas nonstop after every meal to very rarely a few times a day. Ive seeing the doctor for a checkup in a week

Its pretty new, i never get nausea from it. And idk what you mean about burping liquid, my burps feel like theyre releasing gas pressure from my chest.
