Opioids Dealers - Drugs in mouth!?

Yeah, this "bum" had mentioned that he was "dying of AIDS" to me after I already had the bag in my hand. So, it was pretty unfortunate in that regard. And he was less of a bum and more of an opportunist. It was actually really good tar from a Honduran dude, but the Hondo wouldn't sell to me because I had walked down there from work and I was dressed nicely. So this guy rolls up and I'm sure picked up 2 when I wasn't looking and then sold me 1 for the price of 2 (which I was well aware of)... but I make decent money and never buy shit in the street so I didn't give a fuck! This "opportunist" obviously never came in contact with the product and only served as middleman.

Anyway, sorry for the BS swimmer shit about "my friend". I was just really ashamed of this. It's a(nother) rock bottom of sorts for me. Just the kick in the ass I need right now. I knew this was extremely low risk and the highest risk had already passed (dope was already in hand), but I wonder about someone who would've injected this? You don't get a bag of tar in this city without it coming out of some dude's mouth (or less likely, his crotch).. so I'm sure this is a daily occurence where someone gets a bag out of someone's HIV-infected mouth. There's a lot of tar being spit out of mouths in this city..

I agree with whoever posted above that you should basically assume your dealer has HIV if you're buying on the street. Those dudes don't give a fuck about you! I'm glad I took the precautions I did!

Nonetheless, I feel like a total prick for not just tossing that shit on the ground right away man. This is a good fucking wake up call!
 
There is no known case of anyone ever contracting HIV from injecting heroin that was inside a balloon/baggy in someone's mouth. I really don't think injecting it would have been a significant risk. Not trying to say it's a great idea to buy junk off people dying of AIDS who store it in their mouth, but in the interest of harm reduction I think it's important to be truthful about when there are low/no risks from certain things as well as just informing people when there are high risks from certain things. If we are over-reactive when there is no real appreciable risk, it's not much better than the scare-tactics used by regular anti-drug authorities, which results in people not taking anything they say seriously. You're WAY more likely to get HIV from having sex with someone. You're WAY more likely to die of an overdose than get HIV from injecting some dope that was stored in an HIV+ person's mouth.
 
take the shitty bum aids dope to a street dealer and ask for something that doesn't get you sick and give him cash.
 
This is an awesome topic !! I'm from boston an most of the dope dealers are dominican ... I had this one dude who I would always meet who would litterally spit the shit out of his mouth depending on what you wanted ... It was the most impressive thing I have ever seen ... you could be like yo I want two 40s of D and a 40 of soft and he would spit it right out . I always wanted 2 ask him how he knew which one 2 spit out haha
 
This whole going up to a guy in the street to buy drugs' thing is just strange my view. Where im from, you have to know the dealer to be served or be 'introduced' by an existing customer or you dont get anything. Infact, if any of the users i know had a random person come up to them in the street asling if they wanted to 'score' they would be treated as a con-artist.

The things we put up with for a high.lol In south america, the traditional method of making a certain alcoholic drink involves the old people of the tribe spitting into the mixture to hasten the fermentation......so i guess its kinda like "pick your poison!". :-D
