I always want to quit when I am high, and then when I try to quit and the WD kicks butt, my mind tries to rethink it. This time I hope to do better. I was on the 75 fentanyl patch...Yesterday I removed my patch, it's been right at 17 hours. I was told that's the half life of fentanyl. At 1030 I took two teaspoons of kratom, and again at 230. I am not feeling all that well, but the creepy crawl out of your skin feeling is not there thank God. It is really hard to get off fentanyl, esp it it was abused. I have one friend who quit. Just one. It's hard to do. But if you run out early every month you almost quit each time, but instead reset the agony clock.

Hey War.. have you tried to get some better medications to ease the withdrawals. Here are the medications I would try and use for withdrawal along with links to a couple of threads where others share what they use to detox. In my opinion the GABA's like neurontin will provide the best relief, for allot of people the relief the provide is significant.

medications for acute opiate detox

The medications I would explore the use of for detox would be:
>Clonidine< DOSED EVER FOUR HOURS..

one of either
>NEURONTIN< >HERE< >HERE<
OR >Lyrica<
OR >phenibut<

>A BENZO BUT JUST AT NIGHT<
>a nsaid<
>melatonin<
tylenol

(Opi Withdrawal) what is the best comfort meds for opiate w/d?
Your Personal Opiate Withdrawal Arsenal

So since the half life is around 17 hours you can use 17x5= 85 85/24= 3.5 days.. then I like to add three days and so you should be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel around day seven.. you can do this war!!!

fentanyl wasn't around as much as OC's and tar when i was using
